Branding
“Rosewood Equestrian Center“ 2024

Commissioned as a freelance branding project, this identity was created for an equestrian training facility serving riders of all ages. The client sought a cohesive visual system that incorporated both rose and horse imagery while conveying professionalism, warmth, and trust. The resulting brand balances elegance and approachability, creating a memorable identity that reflects the facility's family-oriented values.

Design ElementsThe font Anth was chosen for its refined serif letterforms, which evoke the tradition and elegance associated with equestrian culture while maintaining a contemporary, approachable feel. Its distinctive character communicates trust, quality, and sophistication, making it a strong fit for the professional yet family-oriented brand identity the client envisioned.

WorkmarksAnth Bold was used for the primary wordmark to create a strong visual presence and establish a clear hierarchy within the identity. Anth Regular was used for the supporting text to improve readability while maintaining a cohesive and refined appearance through the consistent use of a single typeface family.

LogoThe logo was designed around the client’s request to combine a rose and a horse into a single, unified mark. The horse is subtly integrated within the layered petals of the rose, creating a cohesive symbol that reflects the brand’s connection to equestrian culture while maintaining an elegant and approachable feel.

The rose references the “Rosewood” name and conveys care, growth, and community, while the horse represents horsemanship and the facility’s core services. Rather than being placed as separate elements, the two forms are intentionally intertwined, symbolizing the close relationship between the organization, its riders, and the horses it supports.
